herika's illustrations and sculptures floored me with the vulnerability and charm they generate. there's an immediacy and love of creating flowing from them. her style is polished and deceptively sweet. i've read herika's bio several times and shed a tear or two at it's poignancy. 

doyou haiku|| is a feature series of contemporary artists that I find inspiring. haiku forces me to boil my thoughts down to some essentials and still allow the work to speak for itself.
