i've had the pleasure of seeing Gabriel Dawe's work circulating online here and there for a couple of years. at first i was only considering the light and space created with these installation. a beautiful optical illusion. but when coupled with his other work, these beautiful false rainbows and blurring images make me ask questions about gender, fashion, clothing & comfort. see for yourself!

doyou haiku|| is a feature series of contemporary artists that I find inspiring. haiku forces me to boil my thoughts down to some essentials and still allow the work to speak for itself.
